NIELS P. MURPHY, Attorney

Niels P. Murphy is a trial, appellate, and arbitration attorney. Attorney Murphy has handled hundreds of complex cases for individuals and businesses. Attorney Murphy currently handles product liability and personal injury cases, securities litigation and arbitration matters, professional malpractice, bad faith and other insurance claims, serious automobile and other accidents. He also handles intellectual property, contract, employment, business and commercial disputes and is a member of the American, Florida, Federal and Jacksonville Bar Associations.

Attorney Niels P. Murphy is admitted to practice before all courts of Florida and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida and the United States Circuit Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit. Attorney Murphy serves as a Barrister in the prestigious Chester Bedell Inn of Court and currently acts as the Chair of the Commercial Litigation Section of the Jacksonville Bar Association.

Attorney Niels P. Murphy earned his Bachelor's Degree cum laude in the top 10% of his class from Vanderbilt University and his law degree with honors from the University of Florida. While a student at the University of Florida College of Law, he served as Chairman of the Justice Campbell Thornal Moot Court Team and his writing skills earned him a position as a teaching assistant in Legal Research and Writing. Attorney Murphy served as an LBJ Scholar intern in the United States House of Representatives and interned for a U.S. Senator. He was an associate with the international law firm of Holland & Knight and served as a named partner with the boutique litigation law firm Liles, Gavin, Costantino & Murphy.

GEDDES D. ANDERSON, JR., Attorney

Attorney Geddes D. Anderson, Jr. is an experienced trial and appellate attorney whose practice emphasizes litigation of civil cases. Prior to founding Murphy & Anderson, Attorney Anderson was an attorney and partner with the litigation law firm Liles, Gavin, Costantino & Murphy. He has handled hundreds of civil cases including professional liability, product liability, contract disputes, securities litigation, fiduciary disputes, and personal injury matters. Attorney Anderson also handles criminal matters. He is admitted to The Florida Bar and licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in Florida including the United States District Court for the Northern, Southern and Middle Districts of Florida, and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Attorney Anderson has successfully tried at least 20 jury trials and has handled numerous arbitrations.

Attorney Geddes D. Anderson attended law school at the University of Florida where his strong advocacy and writing skills earned him a position as a Teaching Assistant for Appellate Advocacy, a member of the Defense Counsel for the University of Florida Student Honor Court, and a member of the Chester Bedell Inn of Court. After graduating from law school, Attorney Anderson accepted a position as an Assistant State Attorney where he gained extensive jury trial experience prosecuting violent and non-violent crimes ranging from murder to financial offenses.

Attorney Anderson attended the University of Florida for his undergraduate studies. At the University of Florida, Mr. Anderson held a variety of elected and appointed leadership positions in student government and other student organizations, including Florida Blue Key Honor Fraternity. Attorney Anderson earned his B.S.B.A. in Finance, with honors. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Anderson worked in the financial industry for Merrill Lynch & Company.

Currently, Attorney Anderson is a member of the Federal Bar Association (Jacksonville Chapter), Trial Lawyers Section of The Florida Bar and Commercial Litigation Section of the Jacksonville Bar Association. For the past four years, Attorney Anderson has served on the Board of Directors for the Young Lawyers Section of the Jacksonville Bar Association and will serve as President-Elect in July 2005.
